Important Note:

Before resetting a DAU Key card to factory settings, ensure you move all the digital assets stored on your DAU Key wallet to a different location such as a hot wallet on the DAU Vault, another DAU Key wallet or an exchange. This is extremely important as once you reset your card, you will completely lose access to all the funds stored on it.

It is also crucial to remember the access code for each card. If you forget, you will need to first reset the access codes on all cards using the backup card. Failing to do so will make a wallet reset on the backup card(s) impossible. Additionally, reset card does not automatically reflect on your other cards in the set, you need to reset each individually.

To reset your card to factory settings, follow the steps below:

1. Open the DAU Vault app.

2. Click the menu bar on the top left corner of the screen and select “Cold Wallets.”

3. Click on “Settings.”

4. Tap the card which you would like to reset as shown to scan the card.

5. Enter access code (if you only use a one card set with no backup card, you will not be asked for an access code).

6. Tap the card which you would like to reset as shown to scan the card.

7. Under “Security,” select “Card Settings” and “Reset card to factory settings.”

8. Carefully review the information that informs you that there will be no access to the current wallet on the chosen card after completing this action. If you agree, tap the "Reset the card" button.

9. Enter the access code and scan the card.

The card will now be reset to factory settings.
