To verify that your card is unused, start the wallet creation process within the DAU Vault app by tapping your DAU Key card against your phone. If the app prompts you to continue and create a new wallet, your card is unused. If not, the card may have been utilised previously.

You also have the option to reset the card to factory settings, which will revert it to a blank, unused state, allowing you to proceed with its use.
